Happy Holidays to all my friends!! It's been crazy busy for us but I think we're slowing down a little just in time for Christmas. Still busy all week with board meetings, required appearances at client parties, etc.. geez..
Anyway, sorry no cards but I did make a donation to the Humane Society for all of us animal lovers and I asked my sister for my Christmas present to adopt a dog!

So this real estate thing is funny. I was in a meeting today (the MLS meeting) and this one agent gets up and starts talking about her listing and then she says, "Joyce is there something wrong with what I'm wearing? You're staring at me." I couldn't believe it in front of all these agents!! Joyce handled it great and said, "You're speaking I listening to what you're saying". It was bizzare!!

skiing
I am in a womens ski clinic every Thurs thru the first week in Feb. It is a lot fun and I'm with women at my same level. Not like drummergirl or ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) tetonkid who I think came out of the womb with tiny little skis strapped on, I'm not very good, but I enjoy it a lot. Plus, it's nice to have a beer or a shot of something and continue skiing. My knee KILLS the evening after skiing but by the time I wake up in the morning I'm fine, so that's good. My knee is strong and I guess the pain is good. I wonder if part of the pain is the cold, you know having that metal in my knee. Maybe I should ice it after skiing? Mon, Jan. 3rd, 2005, 03:54 pm
I miss the city, the big city and lights at times. I enjoy the space and mountains, but I miss the bridges, lights, action.
I would take the taxi home sometimes in New York City, shouting instructions to the driver. 'Take the 57th St. bridge...' hollering at them, 'where are you going?!' Flying around the back of the taxi as they drive like maniacs. Once I did have my face slammed into the plastic guard between the driver and me, I picked myself up 'yea I'm ok'. It snowed today, it's cold and I stayed home. I don't know if it was the margaritas last night or if I actually have some bug, but I still feel pretty shitty and my stomach is not right. It was nice to watch old movies and have fires in the stoves and kittens and dogs in piles. What the hell is going on with the Chiefs?! The show on Sat. was interesting between the drunk chef and the peeps staring with mouths open at the 2 chicks rocking the house. They're good and I'm afraid sometime I might just scream when tetonkid speaks lyrics in songs, I'm lucky to have her she's great in every way. Thu, Oct. 14th, 2004, 09:40 am

I find myself yelling at the tv during the debates. I can't stand Bush or the thought of his sorry ass in the whitehouse for 4 more years. Politics are interesting they stir up so much emotion, much like religion, which is why I stay away from those discussions with my family because everyone gets really angry. I then wonder how they can be so stupid and it's all a bad scene so we just avoid it. Halloween is coming and I'm looking forward to that. Looks like rain today in Bozeman.

I have survivor guilt. My friend that was in real estate school with me didn't pass the exam, either portion. Geez louise, I mean she got it. She was all nervous about the math and stuff but she got the legal stuff. It's tough though and I imagine if your bad at taking tests it's worse. Oh well, wtf I passed. \m/

I have to say the idea of hunting apart from the obvious killing is appealing. Going out in the mountains, watching the animals close up, camping, nature, campfires at night, beer, it's very appealing. It's also the elk rut and I really want to hear the bugling.
